Fly Fishing Perfect Weather    

We keep a very close eye on our weather. For us it is almost a hobby. We watch carefully for daily updates as well as seasonal and annual averages and updates. Our information is gathered directly from Environment Canada. Here is what you can expect; Fly  Fishing  comfortable  daily   temperatures  between  50  and  80 degrees between May and October.

 

Average relative humidity 52%, average fishing season rainfall less than 6 inches, we are the sunniest local in British Columbia with over 1500 sunlight hours between May and October, our average daily windspeed is an amazing 5.1 MPH and winds are calm 24.5% of the time, our average snowfall is 58 inches. Cranbrook elevation is just over 3000 feet with surrounding elevations as high as 11,000 feet, giving us a constant supply of water all season long. Given our sparse population, an abundance of trout waters, an absolutely perfect fly fishing climate, and quiet rejuvenating solitude, it is no wonder we are quickly becoming one of the hottest destinations in North America.
